Is there an easy way to build an E-Access User database?
Yes, the easiest way to add users to an existing User list, is to use the Export and Import features located in SETTINGS.
To quickly build or create a User database, first set up a single User. Select ACCESS and Export the list. Finally, use that exported .csv file to enter the remaining Users. After your file has been updated (see below for example), Import (located in ACCESS) the file into E-Access.
VERY IMPORTANT: ALL ACCESS LEVELS MUST BE CREATED BEFORE IMPORTING ALL THE NEW USERS.
After your list is created, use the Import option to quickly update or replace your Users.
To avoid duplicate Users: The Skip option shown in the image above compares the data in the file with the current data in the system. This option will disregard duplicates and simply add the new Users.
The Flush & Overwrite option deletes all currently programmed Users and replaces them with the User information in the file being imported.
