FAQs
What do I do when Wi-Fi cameras and devices are "Offline" due to a router replacement or a change in wireless service?
To get your Wi-Fi camera connected to your wireless network again, use either the Wireless Configurationor Wireless Configuration with Network Cable option, described below. These steps are used to reconnect your Wi-Fi camera (or device) when it is "Offline" due to the wireless router being replaced by a new router or service. Note: The word "camera" will be used in the steps below to describe all applicable cameras or devices.
Models: All ISV2 Cameras (except the ISV2-CAM-BAT), IBR-DBELL Video Doorbell, IBR-CHIME Doorbell Chime Accessory
Reset Process
Before you can reconfigure the Wi-Fi settings in the camera, reset the camera and delete it from the iBridgeVideo app. Note: If using the Gemini app or iSecure app, it is not required to delete the camera from the app. Proceed as follows:

Wireless Configuration
After the camera has been reset and/or the hotspot has been enabled, you must re-enroll the camera using the new Wi-Fi information as if the camera was new "out of the box". Proceed as follows:
- Open the iBridgeVideo app. Tap the camera’s thumbnail and then tap the Settings "gear" icon located at the top right.
- In the Device Info screen, tap the camera's name, then tap the QR code icon next to the camera's serial number.
- Take a screenshot of the QR code displayed on the screen. Helpful Tip:Send the QR-code screenshot to another device where you can scan it.
- Slowly tap the "Back" arrow until you see the "Delete Device" button at the bottom of the screen. Tap Delete to remove the camera from the app. Note: With the IBR-CHIME, go to "My Device List" under "Me" to remove this device.
- In the iBridgeVideo app’s Device Info screen, tap "+" (at the top right) to add the camera by scanning the QR code from the screenshot taken in step 3.
- Follow the app’s onscreen instructions to connect to the camera’s hotspot and configure the new Wi-Fi information. Note: 5GHz is currently not supported.
- Wait for the Wi-Fi connection process to complete (it may take up to a minute). When successful, the camera's LED will stop flashing and will turn on solid green (solid blue with the IBR-DBELL). Tap Yes to complete the enrollment. If the connection is unsuccessful, retry by tapping Add Again.
Wireless Configuration with Network Cable
This method uses an Ethernet cable to temporarily connect the camera to the new Wi-Fi. Note: The IBR-CHIME and IBR-DBELL do not support this method.
- Using an Ethernet (Cat 5) cable, plug the camera directly into an open LAN port on the router. After the camera is back online, in the iBridgeVideo app open the camera's settings. Tap Wi-Fi Config to configure the new wireless SSID.
- If you previously deleted the camera from the app (or reset the camera as described above) you must "add" the camera into your account again. Tap the + button, scan the QR code and tap "No, I want a wired connection".
- After enrollment is complete, tap the Settings "gear" icon and select "Wi-Fi Config" to select the new Wi-Fi.
- After successfully connecting to the new Wi-Fi network, unplug the Ethernet cable from the camera.
