What can cause a "Badge Violate Void" alert message to display?
Summary: This alert message normally means there is no CardAccess database record for the badge. In the CardAccess 3000 software, verify the following settings:
VERY IMPORTANT: If the correct badge number does not display when it is swiped, do not continue with these steps and go back and check the badge formats.
1)Click Personnel>Show All Badges. Verify the badge is programmed in Personnel.
2) Click Administration>Facility Codes. Verify the Facility Code for the badge being presented is located in one of the ten boxes listed for each panel. Each panel can hold up to ten facility codes. If only one Facility Code is being used, it should be in box one. Facility codes must be entered in a hexadecimal value (ex B036).
3) Click Personnel. Verify the Facility number for the badge being presented corresponds to the correct box on the Facility Code screen (1-10). If Facility Codes are not used, a zero must be entered for Facility on the Personnel screen.
Note: Improper configuration of facility codes can cause a “Badge Violate Void” alert to display.
