Can the onboard NAC and the GEMC-NAC7S Supervised NAC Extender be used to power magnetic door holders and other powered devices by providing constant external output power?

Yes. To provide constant power for magnetic locks and other powered devices, you can program either the FireLink control panel NAC D integral output or you can program the NAC Extender GEMC-NAC7 PC board, as follows:

1. From the main page, select NAC / Output Options:

 

2. In the NAC Assignments tab for the NAC D, uncheck all boxes that are selected by default but add a check (enable) CONSTANT POWER.

3. Click Save.

 

• If resettable is needed, add a check to enable FIRE RESET.

 

4. in the NAC Options tab, check Supervision Disabled for NAC D:

 

5. Remember to click Save.

1. From the main page, select NAC / Output Options:

 

2. In the NAC Assignments tab, assign the board as a Fire NAC Extender, then check the box for CONSTANT POWER.

 

3. Click Save.

 

• If resettable is needed, add a check to enable FIRE RESET.

 

4. Click Save.
