Does my security system have "Sabbath Mode", where I can power off motion detectors during certain times of the week?
Refer to the GEMC-RM3008 Relay Module installation instructions (WI1706) and perform the following:
- Wire a GEMC-RM3008 to the control panel keypad bus.
- Set the address of the GEMC-RM3008 module and set the number of relay boards to '1'.
- Launch PCD-Windows Quickloader software and open the System Assignment screen > External Relay Control tab.
- As shown in the screen below, program: Relay # = 1, Area Disarm = 2, Timeout = '(zero)' and the Event \ Alarm Type \ Condition = Relay Group 1.
- In PCD-Windows Quickloader, open the System Assignment screen > System Options > System Descriptions tab. Add a Description to External Relay Group 1, "Sabbath Mode" (or similar).
- For the motion sensors, wire the [+] power to Common and Normally Closed for Relay 1.
To turn off power:
At the keypad, enter your User Code, press Function (or Menu), then press Bypass until Relay Control Y/N appears in the keypad display. Select "Y" and press Enter (or On/Off) to toggle the relay on and off.
