FAQs
NFPA 72 (2013) requires a 6-hour Test Timer be programmed in my Gemini C-Series (GEMC), Firewolf and FireLink control panels. How do I program a 6-hour Test Timer using PCD-Windows Quickloader software?
Ever since the NFPA 72 (2013) was instituted, a 6-hour Test Timer may be required to be programmed in your Gemini C-Series (GEMC), Firewolf or FireLink control panel. Proceed as follows:
The PCD-Windows Schedule Assignments screen will be used to program four schedules, six hours apart. As shown in the screen below, program the Event as a Test Timer, check the Weekly checkbox and select Sun-Sat for the Day of Week.
For the start time, repeat the above programming for three additional Test Timer Events, each initiated 6 hours apart.
