My PC is running Windows 10 and I am unable to install SQL 2012. Do you have any suggestions?
If your PC is running Windows 10 and you are unable to install SQL 2012, try the following steps:
- Type "Windows Features" in the Windows 10 Search bar and select Turn Windows features on or off.
- If .NET Framework 3.5 is unchecked, add a check, and click OK.
- Wait for Windows Update to install components. When finished, reboot your PC.
- Delete all components of SQL or DL-Windows that may have been previously installed.
- Run a command prompt (CMD) as administrator and run SFC /SCANNOW.
- When finished, reboot your PC again and install SQL 2012.
