Why are my badges not working on a new panel recently added into the CardAccess 3000 or the CA4K software?
The following are some reasons why this might occur after adding a new panel to the software"
1) All associated "Access Groups" must be updated to apply a time schedule to the NEW readers.
2) If the existing badges are using facility codes, the new panel must be added under the "Adminstration>Facility Codes" screen and the facility codes must be added in.
3) You must verify the new panel is communicating and a Firmware and Data download has been completed. To view the state of the panel, open the communications driver in the CardAccess 3000 or the Status screen in the CA4K software. Check the status of the new panel.
