FAQs
What is the difference between a "Low Voltage" and a "Low Battery" trouble with my StarLink Communicator?
Both troubles indicate a low input power trouble. The normal operating range for a StarLink communicator is 11-15VDC for burglary and StarLink Connect communicators, and 11-25VDC for Fire communicators.
A "Low Voltage" trouble indicates the input power supplying the communicator is between 7.2 to 9.3VDC. The communicator D5 LED will blink once, repeatedly.
A "Low Battery" trouble indicates the input power supplying the communicator is between 9.3 - 10.8VDC. The communicator D5 LED will blink twice, repeatedly.
