Does the GEM-K1VPS keypad announce zone faults via an audible voice description?
No, the GEM-K1VPS does not announce zone faults. However, the GEM-K1VPS will annunciate all keypad menu options, including:
- Display Zone Directory
- Activate Siren Test
- Activate Chime
- Activate Fault Find
- Display Alarm Log
- Display Total Log
- Display Fire Log
- Display Opening and Closing Log
- Display System Log
- Auto Arm in 1 to 4 Hours
- Activate Program
- Activate Download
- Change Keypad Beep Volume (Yes to increase, no to decrease)
- Change Voice Volume (Yes to increase, no to decrease)
- Activate Dialer Test
- Activate PIR Test
Additionally, the GEM-K1VPS keypad will also announce certain user functions, including:
"System is arming in Stay mode. If leaving, please exit now" – Annunciates when the control panel is being armed in Stay mode.
"System is arming in Away mode. If leaving, please exit now" – Annunciates when the control panel is being armed in Away mode.
"System Disarmed" – Annunciates when the control panel is disarmed.
"Sorry, cannot arm at this time. A condition exists that prevents arming. Please correct the condition and try again" – Annunciates when attempting to silence an output while arming, or when a Priority zone is faulted when trying to arm.
