How do I program a Scene in the iBridge App to control my garage door opener?
You can control your garage door opener by programming a Scene in the iBridge App. First use PCD-Windows Quickloader to program your supported control panel, as follows:
- GEM-P1632, GEM-P1664 and GEM-P816 control panels: In the System Assignment screen, System Options tab, add a check to enable Access Control on PGM2 Output. With GEM-P3200, GEM-P9600 and GEM-X255 control panels, in the System Assignment screen, System Options tab, add a check to enable Access Control on Auxiliary Output.
- In the User Assignment screen, User/System Codes tab, add an access code: With GEM-P1632, GEM-P1664 and GEM-P816 control panels, add a code; under Code Type, select Access. With GEM-P3200, GEM-P9600 and GEM-X255 control panels, enter the Access Code at the bottom of the User Assignment screen.
- In the System Assignment screen, Time Selection tab, program the PGM2 Output on Access or AUX Output Access Control for a 3 second Duration.
- In the Keypad Assignment screen, Keypad Assignment tab, enable Panel Access for the iBridge RCM Keypad.
- With garage door openers with push button triggers, wire a NAPCO model RB1000 low-current Form-C relay between PGM2 (or the AUX Output) and the garage door opener NO/NC push button. Note: If necessary, you may need to solder directly to the garage door opener push button contacts.
Use the iBridge App to create a "Scene" and name it "Garage Door". Select Security > Arm Away and enter the access code programmed in step 2. This Scene will trigger the PGM2 (or the AUX output, depending on the control panel model) to trigger the garage door wired to the RB1000.
