When using the StarLink Connect radios to connect to Honeywell and DSC control panels, does the StarLink Connect software store all of the radio ID numbers that I previously entered? For example, customer information is retained within the PCD-Windows Quickloader software. In the same way, is customer data retained within the StarLink Connect software?
No, the StarLink Connect software will only store one radio ID number for each software type (1 for Honeywell, 2 for DSC). There are, however, user-defined fields into which the ID number can be stored.
DSC: Right click Properties and use one of the unused fields (in the example below, Department is used):
Honeywell: In the Customer Detail screen (shown below), enter the Radio ID # in user_field_1 or user_field_2.
