After Discovering and Linking locks, why does the Available Lock(s) By Serial Number field become blank (no data displayed) when I click on a Profile in the Available Lock Profile field?
After Discovering a lock, you will be prompted to "Link/Assign" this lock to an available Lock Profile previously created. If the Available Lock(s) By Serial Number field becomes blank when clicking on a Profile, it means that there are no Discovered lock models that match the Lock Profile(s) previously created. DL-Windows is required to Link the lock to a Profile with the same model number (e.g. PDL6100, DL6500, etc.) as the discovered lock. The solution is to either:
- Delete the Lock Profile;
--or--
- Create a new Lock Profile with the correct model number.
If you are unsure of the lock model number, simply refer to the photo on the cover of the Programming Instructions packed with the lock.
