FAQs
How do I program my GEM-P3200, GEM-P9600 or GEM-X255 control panel to manually open a door using the iBridge app?
The GEM-ACM1D is an accessory that adds access control functionality to the above listed control panels. The GEM-ACM1D provides controlled access to a door by releasing a magnetic lock or electric strike when a valid Prox Card is presented to a proximity card reader.
In the Keypad Assignments screen, ACM Assignment tab, program a virtual relay number under the Scheduled Free Access Index column.
In the System Assignments screen, External Relay Control tab, program the virtual Relay # for Area 1, program the Timeout duration for the length of time you wish for the door to remain unlocked with an Event \ Alarm Type \ Condition as a selected Relay Group.
In the System Assignments screen, System Descriptions tab, label the External Relay Group with the door name.
Using your iBridge app in keypad mode, enter a level 3 user code. Tap the FUNCTION or MENU button, tap the BYPASS button until RELAY CONTROL Y/N appears in the display.
Tap the INTERIOR (NEXT)/YES button until the door name appears, then press the ON/OFF or ENTER button to toggle the door locked/unlocked for the specified time that was previously programmed in the System Assignments screen, External Relay Control tab.
The above steps can be used on other doors based upon the control panel type.
