What are some things to check if the CA4K does not launch after a new installation?
1) Verify the CA4K sofware is licensed. Verify the software license is Imported, Registered and Activated. This can be checked in the CA4K License Manager utility.
2) Verify the SQL Server service is started under Windows Services.
3) Verify all the 12- CA4K services are displaying under Windows Services. By default, 8 of the services are started automatically. Refer to the CA4K Video Intro videos in the Continental Video library.
4) Verify the Windows Firewall is started and everything is set to Allow regarding Inbound and Outbound.
5) Verify you have the correct permissions to launch the CA4K. Log on as Administrator and verify if the program launches.
6) Verify the CA4K DBUtilities is configured.
