FAQs
Are the StarLink Fire Radio relay harnesses that are connected to the FACP relays supervised by the radio?
Yes. UL requires that the 9SLE10KHARN harness be installed within the FACP enclosure, allowing the resistor network within the 9SLE10KHARN wiring harness to provide EOLR functionality at the radio input. This configuration allows the respective radio input to determine the presence of the harness EOLR and the state of the Form-C relay it is monitoring.
If the radio senses that the connection to the harness is lost, the supervisory PGM radio output changes state, causing the FACP to go into a trouble condition (note that the PGM will change state within 200 seconds of the EOLR not being present; it is not an immediate trip).
If using Contact ID format, the radio transmits a Contact ID event code of 373 with a zone code of 992 (if IN2 is cut) and a zone code of 993 (if IN3 is cut).
