Can I upgrade a CA195, CA295 and CA495 database without sending it into Continental Access?
If your version of CardAccess 3000 is V2.6.x or later, you will need to send the "DATA" folder into Continental Access technical support. If the version of CardAccess 3000 is V2.5.16 or earlier, it will contain the utilities to perform the upgrade yourself.
In the CA195, CA295 and CA495, there is a"DATA" folder under the "CardAccess" folder. The whole "Data" folder must be sent to Continental to be upgraded to a CardAccess 3000 database. To send the "Data" folder to Continental Access, contact Continental Technical Support and they will give you the credentials to copy the "Data" folder to the Continental FTP site.
