FAQs
Does the keyfob OP/CL log display the most recent event history of openings and closings?
Yes. This log uses the last group of users depending on the control panel and the number of available users.
Example 1 -- A GEM-P816 control panel has 16 Users available with the ability to program (8) keyfobs. KF #1 event will log as 'User 9'. KF #2 event will log as 'User 10', and so on.
Example 2 -- A GEM-P9600 control panel has 96 Users available with the ability to program (16) keyfobs. KF #1 event will log as 'User 81'. KF #2 event will log as 'User 82', and so on.
Example 3 -- A GEM-P1664 control panel has 64 Users available with the ability to program (8) keyfobs. KF #1 event will log as 'User 57'. KF #8 event will log as 'User 64', and so on.
Important Note: When using keyfobs and many users, it is possible to have keyfob and standard user code entry events with overlapping user numbers. As shown in the example below, a KF #12 event will log the same as User 92.
