In PCD-Windows Quickloader, when I try to add a User Code a "User Code Duplicate Found" error appears (example shown below). How do I resolve this?
The above error message appears when an ACM has been added to the system and you overwrite a previous User Code or Access Group that contained the same User Code.
For example, if User Code "12345" for User 1 already exists in the Account (as shown in Figure 1 below), and later an ACM Group was created with the same User Code (see Figure 2 below), the ACM Group User Code will be "hidden" within the background. If you later decide to use the same "12345" User Code for User 2, the result will be the error popup (see Figure 3 below).
Solution:
Access the initial User Code, in this example, "User 1", and change the User Code from ACM Area 1 to "None", erase the Code "12345", then revert the User Code back to ACM Area 1. This will allow you to proceed with adding the desired User Code without an error.
