I am very familiar with using the www.NapcoNOC.com website to program StarLink communicators. However, are there any new features in the www.NapcoNOC.com website that I should be aware of?
When using the www.NapcoNOC.com website to program the StarLink radio with the central station telephone number, a convenient new clipboard feature allows the telephone number to be automatically copied to the Advanced tab. To use this new clipboard feature, log into the radio at www.NapcoNOC2.com and follow these steps:
- Click Dealer Entered Programming - ON/OFF.
- Click Edit (located at the bottom of the screen).
- If a Fire radio, click Disable jumper one for download, and click Yes to the confirmation. If not a Fire radio, skip to the next step.
- Type the primary central station telephone number, account number and a backup number (if available).
- Click the "clipboard" icon (shown above), and the following popup appears (click OK):
- Click the Advanced tab. Your central station telephone number and account number will automatically be carried over into the correct fields. Continue to program as needed, then click Save.
Note: As per UL, a Fire radio Tamper Report, a Reboot Report and a Land Line (Telco) Cut Report are all disabled by default (these optional features, shown below, can be enabled if needed).
