Will the CA4K Web Client work with https?

Answer:
YES...Https must be configured by the customers I.T. department. They must enable it in IIS and create a certificate. They must also follow Microsoft's documentation on configuring https. 

Is LDAP supported on the Web Client?

Answer:
NO...With one exception. It wil only work on the host computer that is on the domain. 

What can cause the Web Client to display the menus incorrectly while using Internet Explorer?

Answer:
If the CA3000 Web Client menus are displaying incorrectly, you must configure "compatibility Mode" in Internet Explorer. Go To "Tools>Compatibility View Settings" and add the URL to the Web Client.

What can cause the Web Client not to launch after Internet Information Services and the CA3000Web application was installed?

Answer:
Refer to the CA3000Web installation documents for the appropriate operating system.

Does the CA3000 and CA4K Web Clients work on handheld computers?

Answer:
Yes.. The CA3000 and CA4K Web Clients will work on a tablet or handheld computer as long as the device supports the supported browsers.  A few examples are the Blackberry phone and an IPad tablet.  

Does the CA3000 and CA4K Web Client work on other browsers other than Internet Explorer?

Answer:
YES.. Other browsers are supported such as Safari, Google Chrome and Firefox.

Is licensing required to use the CA3000 or CA4K Web Client?

Answer:
YES... The CA3000 and CA4K Web Client requires a workstation license. The security key must support 5 or more workstations to use the CA3000 or CA4K web client. This is the same for a CardAccess 3000 or a CA4K workstation.

How can I make the CardAccess 3000 Web Client to Auto-Logoff?

Answer:
There is no Auto-Logoff feature in the Web Client. You must configure this setting in IIS(Internet Information Services). In IIS, there is a setting called "Session Timeout". Configure this setting for the timeout needed.
