Answer:
NO...In order to support TLS 1.2, you need to upgrade to CA4K.  The CA3000 does not support it and must use the older TLS 1.0 / 1.1.  

Why is the CardAccess 3000 communications driver (hostnt.exe) using 100 percent of CPU 0 usage?

Answer:
This is nothing to be concerned with. if any other application needs the CPU, the communication driver will release the CPU. This is by design. It uses the idle thread of the CPU.

The CardAccess 3000 software and all associated applications will run as a service in version 2.9.9 and later. This is not supported in earlier versions of CardAccess 3000.
