Modified Outside Housing Requires New Lever A design modification to the outside housing requires a shorter outside Lever, as the existing Lever will not fit into the modified outside housing. A new Spindle Spacer must also be used. Note: Refer to these documents for additional information: WI2008 (Lever and Return Spring Upgrade Kit) and WI1994 (Exit Trim & Mortise Locks New Spindle Spacer & Lever).

Outside Housing Design Modification Requires Updated Lever. An internal design upgrade has been implemented that affects the replacement of the outside housing of Alarm Lock mortise and Exit Trim locksets (NOT including narrow stile).

DL6600 and PDL6600 Mortise Installation Template (with "Door Monitoring", WI2036). The DL6600 and PDL6600 series Mortise locks have a "Door Monitoring" feature that necessitates a "door contact" hole be drilled. Therefore, the "door contact" hole was added to the standard Mortise Installation Template (WI1003) to make this template WI2036. Use this Mortise template WI2036 with the Mortise installation instructions (WI1004) and its supplement (WI2023) describing the steps required to install the "door contact" hole.
IMPORTANT! WHEN PRINTING OR PHOTOCOPYING A TEMPLATE, ALWAYS SELECT PRINTING OPTIONS TO ENSURE THAT COPIES ARE PRINTED WITHOUT SIZE ADJUSTMENTS. ALWAYS VERIFY DIMENSIONS ON THE TEMPLATE AFTER PRINTING.
