ArchiTech By Networx: For Cylindrical Anti-Ligature Locks Using a Mortised Networx Control Module With Concealed Proximity Reader: Mounting and Installation Instructions.
These instructions detail the hardware installation procedure for the ArchiTech cylindrical anti-ligature door locks using the Mortised Networx Control Modules for hollow or solid wood doors (including fiberglass and vinyl; not for metal doors). The Mortised Networx Control Module includes an integral (and thus concealed) Proximity Reader that can read proximity credentials (for example, proximity cards) through the door surface. Installation instructions for the Door Contact Magnet (installed in the door jamb) is also included.
Anti-ligature locks are designed to limit the possibilities of personal harm. Eliminating points where, for example, a rope or bed sheet can be looped or tied to a door fixture to create a point of ligature, the possibility of self-harm or in some severe cases, loss of life, can be averted.
