DSC and Honeywell Compatibility
DSC and Honeywell keypad skins are supported for use with the IBR-TOUCH and IBR-TOUCH-WL tablets, but only when used with a StarLink Connect communicator and when the "Wi-Fi Only Mode" selection is enabled in the tablet's administrator settings.

Note: The hardwired IBR-TOUCH tablet's 4-wire bus wires are for connection to NAPCO control panels only; do not connect the IBR-TOUCH tablet's 4-wire bus wires to the Honeywell or DSC control panel bus.

The StarLink Connect communicator requires a local CAT5 connection (or a local Wi-Fi / tablet connection using an SLE-WIFI-MODULE).  Refer to the StarLink Connect instructions for compatible Honeywell / DSC panels, available for download in the following links:

IBR-TOUCH & IBR-TOUCH-WL: Update the Operating System and applications (LATEST)

Note: A USB ("thumb") drive MUST be used to perform this update. An "Over-the-air" update is not available for a full Operating System update.

To update the operating system and applications for the IBR-TOUCH and/or IBR-TOUCH-WL, select either the Automatic Install Method or the Manual Install Method, as follows:

Automatic Install Method

1. Copy the entire update.zip file into the root directory of a USB Flash Drive (the file MUST remain in the .zip format).
2. Insert the USB drive into the tablet.
3. Wait 15-20 seconds and a popup will automatically appear that reads, "Firmware Updating. An update package file is found...update.zip. Would you like to install the package?"

(If the popup described in step 3 above does not appear, use the Manual Install Method (below), beginning with step 2).

4. Tap Install and follow all subsequent on-screen prompts. Do not power down or remove the USB during the installation process.

Manual Install Method

1. Copy the entire update.zip file into the root directory of a USB Flash Drive (the file MUST remain in the .zip format).
2. Open Dealer Settings by pressing and holding the "gear" icon.
3. Type "admin" as the password and tap Yes to save changes.
4. Tap Tablet > Application and OS Updater.
5. At the bottom of the list, select Update Android OS via USB.
6. Follow all subsequent on-screen prompts. Do not power down or remove the USB during the installation process.

After the operating system has been successfully installed, you can confirm the current version by opening User Settings (tapping the "gear" icon) and scroll to the bottom. It will read as follows:
