Important! This firmware supports the new Emergency RESET LOCKDOWN USER feature. A minimum DL-Windows version of 5.5.3 is required for proper lockdown operation.
Firmware for Networx Locks: PDL6300 & DL6300
Primary Side: Version 88g / Secondary Side: Version 89d
The PDL6300 and DL6300 firmware update requires BOTH the Primary side firmware and the Secondary side firmware be downloaded into the lock. Proceed as follows:
1. Download the two firmware .bin files to your computer.
2. Open DL-Windows and right-click the "PDL/DL6300" Lock Profile.
3. Select "Update Lock Firmware" from the pop-up menu.
4. In the Open screen, navigate to the folder on your computer containing the downloaded .bin files.
5. To update the Primary Side, select the file named "PDL6300Primary_88g.bin" and click Open. The firmware will begin to install.
6. Confirm the new "PDL/DL6300" version number located in the Lock Status screen.
7. To update the Secondary Side, repeat steps 2 through 6, but select the file "PDL6300Sec_89d.bin".
8. Confirm the Secondary Side firmware version: Press and hold the number 1 key on the secondary side keypad; the red LED will indicate the letter 'd' using Morse code (D = dash / dot / dot).
IMPORTANT! After performing the above upgrade procedure, you MUST perform a FULL reset using the "ERASE ALL PROGRAMMING" procedure described in the programming instructions. (For PDL6300 models, use programming instructions WI2265; for DL6300 models, use programming instructions WI2301).
Note: The firmware version letter case type, i.e. "upper case" or "lower case" that is displayed in the file name may differ from the case displayed in DL-Windows. Be aware that both types of letters always denote the same version.
DL6300 / PDL6300 Primary Side v88G: FIRMWARE UPDATE 88g INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING NEW FEATURES:
- Manually unlock door using DL-Windows software (v5.5.3)
- Support for DL-Windows Holiday Schedule (v5.5.3)
- Support for DL-Windows "Enable/Disable Reset Lockdown User" (v5.5.3)
- New keypad programming option: "Prox Enroll Time Bypass" (clears any User Code slot instantly). At the keypad, press (AL) 2 (AL) (number of slot to be cleared, i.e. 2 - 5000) (AL) 0 (Star)
DL6300 / PDL6300 Secondary Side v89D: FIRMWARE UPDATE 89d INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING NEW FEATURES:
