*Before adding the controller into CA4K you MUST update the CA-2 firmware file to the latest version. If you perform a firmware download, using the default firmware from CA4K, the panel firmware will be downgraded. Please follow the steps below prior to updating:
Note: CA-2 units shipped from factory come with firmware, v06.07.00.
- Download the LATEST CA-2 / CA-4 Firmware file (v06.08.09 or higher).
- Copy and replace the firmware file into the default CA4K firmware folder located in c:\Program Files (x86)\CardAccess4K\Firmware (folder location may vary if installed on another drive, e.g., D:\ or E:\)
