The procedure in this Technical Note will correct a Charging Circuit Trouble, indicated by the charger circuit PC board (SLE-ULPS-R) yellow LED (D4) blinking 3 times. Before starting this procedure, the battery must be checked and verified to be good, to ensure that the 3 blinks are not caused by a bad battery.
IMPORTANT: This Tech Note only applies to SLE-ULPS-R circuit boards with triangle 5 or 5X or lower. For above 5X, contact NAPCO Tech Support. In addition, this Technical Note also applies to StarLink Fire communicator models that include a power supply (model numbers ending with PS or -PS), and StarLink Intrusion communicator models that include a power supply (model numbers ending with -TF or TF-C).

For use only in the H526-1 (red) or the H526 (white) enclosures. See WI2100 and WI2120 for installation instructions for the radio communicators.
