Why am I getting a message that I exceeded the maximum number of DVR's allowed?
You must verify the security key /soft license supports one or more DVR's. This is a feature that must be purchased.
If the security key/software license supports 1 DVR, you will not be able to add a second DVR into the CardAccess 3000.
There are instances where old data in the DVR tables, and does not display under "Configuration/DVR's". This can cause a licensing error that displays "Exceeded DVR count. To correct this problem, you must install and use the SQL Managment Studio to view the tables in the livedatabase. Below are a few of the tables to verify that no DVR's or cameras have been configured in the past.
