In DL-Windows, I am receiving a “Runtime Error 429 - ActiveX Component Can't Create Object†– How can I resolve this?
If you are using DL-Windows and a "Runtime Error 429 - ActiveX Component Can't Create Object" appears, several solutions are available:
- This runtime notification could be due to a recent update of Windows. Try using the Windows system tool "System Restore" to revert to an earlier restore point.
- Paradoxically, this runtime notification could be resolved by installing a missing Windows update. Visit the "Windows Update" website and install all recommended updates.
- The restoration of a missing .DLL file in DL-Windows could be a solution. Therefore, try simply reinstalling DL-Windows. Be sure to back up all necessary DL-Windows files before starting the reinstall process.
Note: This applies to DL-Windows V4.1.96 installed on any Windows Operating System
